DEASM (Design Early Adoption Stimulus Markup)
To encourage proper planning and prevent misuse, a DEASM is added to the Automation Connection Fee if you connect LESS THAN one year AFTER the weighted average purchase date of your design products: Fundamentals, Guide, Project, and optional Road Map.
- Purpose: Encourages purchasing design products well in advance of needing Automation, allowing time for design, procurement, and installation.
- Calculation:
DEASM = 2 * (Guide Price + Project Price)
- Avoidance: Connecting Automation one year or more AFTER the weighted purchase date AVOIDS the DEASM completely. (E.g., if weighted purchase date of design products is July 1st, 2025, connecting Automation before July 1st, 2026 incurs DEASM. Connecting on or after July 1st, 2026 avoids it.)
View the OptiHeatX Guide, Project, and Automation prices not just as costs, but as investments in your property’s long-term efficiency, comfort, resilience, and value. The pricing is designed such that the initial investment is often a fraction of the potential annual energy savings and cost avoidance from preventing design/installation mistakes (learn more in our Fundamentals). OptiHeatX empowers you to secure optimal pricing at every stage – from component purchase to installation and operation – by providing knowledge, detailed plans, and smart automation.
Prices start in Base Units. 1 BU = 1 kWh of heating energy cost (incl. VAT) in Austria. This links value to energy savings potential.
We adjust the BU price based on your local average electricity price (or your actual price if provided).
A multiplier accounts for climate differences (Austria = 1), normalizing heating needs.
System Complexity measures water heaters, options, features, etc. It is measured in System Complexity Units (SCU). The price uses a System Complexity Ratio (SCU Ratio = SCU^(1/2)). This square root scaling means doubling complexity doesn’t double the price, making complex systems more affordable per unit of complexity. (Affects Project & Automation)
Property Area Unit (PAU) is corresponds to 100 sq.m. The price uses a Property Area Ratio (PAU Ratio = PAU^(2/3)). This fractional power scaling means doubling the area doesn’t double the price, making larger properties more cost-effective to heat per square meter. (Affects Project & Automation)
You pay for Project and Automation complexity incrementally as you upgrade your system, aligning costs with development stages.
Example Calculations
Guide + Project + Automation Connection Fee at Max level
At Min level
Optional
Calculation:
- Property Area: 0.9 PAU => PAU Ratio = 0.9^(2/3) = 0.93
- System Complexity: SCU=1 => SCU Ratio = 1^(1/2) = 1
- Fundamentals: 0 BU (for Now)
- Guide: 1290 BU * 0.82 = 1054 BU
- Project: 990 BU * 0.82 * 1 * 0.93 = 754 BU
- Automation Connection Fee (CF Max): 990 BU * 0.82 * 1 * 0.93 = 754 BU
- Automation Monthly Fee (Min for CF Max): 4.9 BU * 0.82 * 1 * 0.93 = 3.7 BU
- Total (Fundamentals + Guide + Project + Automation CF Max): 1054 + 754 + 754 = 2562 BU. At Serbia average €0.159/kWh, this is €407
- Monthly Automation Fee: €0.6
- Road Map (optional): €90
Guide + Project + Automation Connection Fee at Min level
At Max level
Optional
Calculation:
- Property Area: 2.7 PAU => PAU Ratio = 2.7^(2/3) = 1.94
- System Complexity: SCU=3 => SCU Ratio = 3^(1/2) = 1.73
- Fundamentals: 0 BU (for Now)
- Guide: 1290 BU * 1.41 = 1825 BU
- Project: 990 BU * 1.41 * 1.73 * 1.94 = 4703 BU
- Automation Connection Fee Min (CF Min): 149 BU * 1.41 * 1.73 * 1.94 = 705 BU
- Automation Monthly Fee (Max for CF Min): 14.9 BU * 1.41 * 1.73 * 1.94 = 70.6 BU
- Total (Fundamentals + Guide + Project + Automation CF Min): 1825 + 4703 + 705 = 7233 BU. At Sweden average €0.3/kWh, this is €2170
- Monthly Automation Fee = €21.2
- Road Map (optional): €293

At OptiHeatX, Partnership with Property Owners is a core value. We believe in building solutions with our users. As we pursue our mission, we are committed to an Iterative Development and Improvement philosophy for all our products.
Initial product versions are built upon OptiHeatX’s extensive internal research, development, and real-world experience. In Guide and Automation we focus on delivering piping/wiring schemes and essential core functionalities first.
We then systematically expand the scope, adding new modules, options, features, and greater detail through our ongoing internal development efforts in Guide and Automation.
We actively seek and highly value your feedback. Your insights help us refine existing features, identify new needs, and improve the overall user experience.
With user consent, anonymized and aggregated performance data from the OptiHeatX Automation system will provide invaluable insights for further data-driven optimizations and the development of new, intelligent features.
Initial versions of our products are offered with significant discounts. As products mature – incorporating more features and broader scope through the phases above – these introductory discounts will gradually decrease for new purchasers.
By purchasing an OptiHeatX product now, you not only benefit from current pricing but are also assured of receiving all future updates and enhancements for the product version you acquired. You’re investing in a product that grows with us and with the collective experience of our user community.

This is your chance to actively participate in the OptiHeatX journey, influence our development through partnership, and secure exceptional value on our evolving products!
License Types and Pricing Structure
- You purchase the full product stack (Fundamentals, Guide, optionally Road Map, Project, Automation) directly from OptiHeatX for a specific property.
- This license covers implementation on that property only.
- The entire license stack transfers automatically to the new owner upon property sale.
- See For Property Owners / For Property Developers pages.
- You purchase the Guide (and acquire Fundamentals) under a license tied to each individual professional using it within your company.
- This license allows using the Guide’s knowledge to provide services across multiple client projects.
- It’s company-transferable if an employee leaves (contact support).
- Crucially: Your client (Owner/Developer) still needs to purchase the full Property-Tied stack for their property.
- See For Professionals page.
- You purchase the relevant stack (Fundamentals, Guide, optionally Road Map and/or Project) once per standard architectural service offering that incorporates these OptiHeatX tools.
- This allows repeated use of the tools when delivering that specific type of service.
- Crucially: Your client (Owner/Developer) still needs to purchase the full Property-Tied stack for their property for implementation rights, the Automation key, and transferability.
- See For Professionals page (Architect section).
If you act in multiple roles (e.g., an Architect or Installer developing their own property), you need separate licenses appropriate for each role (e.g., Project-Offering-Tied licenses for client services, and a full Property-Tied stack for the self-developed property).
